    art is ...

a result of the science of creation

(and that is only 5 words - 'a' is a letter, and I use 'of' twice)

    "A creation used as art"

Its a circular definition I know, but its the closest I can get to defining art in 5 words.

Whiles studying Philosophy at Uni, "what is art" was actually one of my projects.

And so far no philosopher has been able to give a satisfactory definition of art... Not in the classical way of defining things, that is by necessary and sufficient criteria?s.
